The Open Road

I bless myself in sizes small, medium and large. I bless this time of letting go, knowing till I know. I bless the need to let go of control, leave behind the tyranny of the past, explore the unseen.
I bless my daughter, Sarah who has helped me arrive.
I thank myself for wanting to change. I thank cloudscape art racing across the Chicago sky, or on a cloudless day, I dream along the open road.

Playtime with Texts

I just returned home. Will call after dinner. Yes I’m coming. Thank you. Are you on your way? I left already almost there sorry No worries Yes, there we are, maybe There was an accident so I’m a little behind but will be there before the meeting starts. A massage Good for you! We’re rescheduling Summer Women for June 16th. I just sent an email.
I just want to thank you for including us yesterday at Ming Him. It was great to see you and know that you are navigating the huge sea change you’ve gone through as you’ve relocated. Your grandchildren are lovely and will see you through. We are currently sitting on the runway at O’Hare tied down by thunderstorms. We’ve been sitting for more than an hour. It looks like they just got word that we can skirt the storms headed east. Anyway nice seeing you. Happy trails.
